Health Information Strategy
St John wanted to improve the way that health information was collected, stored, and made available. Through interviewing key stakeholders, a "Health Information Strategy" was developed that would enable the goals of:
- all personnel who provide care will be able to access comprehensive Electronic Health Records for customers at the point of care.
- customers and anyone else providing care to the customer will be able to contribute to and access the Electronic Health Record including the customer’s GP, and secondary care
- ensuring that all health information created by St John is included within the Electronic Health Record.
The strategy outlined the process by which these goals would be achieved.
