Whanganui Regional PHO

For Whanganui Regional PHO, I chair their IT Steering Group, charged with the responsibility of implementing their Information Systems Strategic Plan.

Work has included providing strategic and operational advice on:

• the most appropriate way to use information systems in support of:
  • population health
  • the management of long term conditions
• the provision of centralised practice management system hosting
• implementing best practice management of PHO infrastructure
• selection of e-referral technology
• development of advanced forms to support clinical programmes and standing orders.
